Screen freeze!

This is my favorite photo app and after installing IOS 8.1.1 on my iPhone, the app freezes after only making changes to 1 photo! I have to completely shut the phone off to unfreeze the app to make changes to another pic!! PLEASE help and fix this bug!! Everytime Apple has another IOS update, I get nervous!!
